RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 2011- authorizing the Acting City Manager and/or Senior Accountant to execute all documents required by the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission (Energy Commission) for participation in the EECBG Grants Program, and any amendments thereto.
BACKGROUND:
On July 9, 2010, the City of Livingston was awarded Grant CBG-09-093 in the amount of $77, 464.00 to replace motors at the existing water wells in the City. On February 2, 2010, the City of Livingston approved that the City Manager be authorized to execute any and all documents or instruments necessary to participate in the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) Program, and any amendments thereto.
DISCUSSION:
Due to the recent City staffing changes, an amendment is presented to have the Acting City Manager and/or Senior Accountant be authorized to execute any and all documents or instruments necessary to participate in the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) Program, and any amendments thereto.

WHEREAS, on February 2, 2010, the City of Livingston approved that the City Manager be authorized to execute any and all documents or instruments necessary to participate in the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) Program, and any amendments thereto; and
WHEREAS, in response to City staffing changes, an amendment is presented to have the Acting City Manager and/or Senior Accountant be authorized to execute any and all documents or instruments necessary to participate in the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) program, and any amendments thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Acting City Manager and/or Senior Accountant be authorized to execute all documents required by the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission (Energy Commission) for participation in the EECBG Grant Program, and any amendments thereto.
