DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ITEMS
1. City of Livingston Budget – Fiscal Year 2011-2012.
The City Council and Staff reviewed the proposed Fiscal Year 2011-2012 Budget for the City of Livingston. There was brief discussion by department heads on their budgeted items. A question and answer period followed.
Luis Flores, 707 Almondwood Drive stated he wanted to commend all the departments for their budget cuts and the City Council as well. He thought the budget was a good history book and tipped his hat off to Vickie Lewis and all the work that was put into the document.
Katherine Schell Rodriquez, P.O. Box 163 agreed that the document was a good historical document and noted that since the budget is in pdf format on the City website all you have to do is put any word in the search box and the computer will flip the pages for you and take you directly to that part of the document. She commended the City for making the budget document available to the public on a CD at no cost.
Further discussion followed. The Council took no action on adoption of the budget.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned by consensus at 8:30 p.m.
