Council designates the attached list of equipment/property as surplus property and authorizes staff to dispose of them appropriately:
The City of Livingston Department of Public Works currently has two vehicles, a 1973 Chevrolet one ton flat bed truck and a 1994 Ford F250-3/4 ton work truck that are fully depreciated, obsolete, no longer safe to be on the road and have been taken out of service.
For many years, the City has stored a 1967 GMC 8500 fire truck. This truck is no longer in service and is taking up space at the public works facility.
Additional equipment includes a 2006 Rayco RC6D wood chipper which has been replaced with a new unit.
