A Special Meeting of the Livingston City Council was held on July 31, 2007, in the City Council Chambers with Mayor Samra presiding.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The pledge of allegiance was led by Police Chief Eldridge.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Samra called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.

Also in attendance were City Manager Warne, Assistant City Manager/Finance Director Lewis,
City Engineer Gottiparthy, Chief of Police Eldridge, Public Works Director Creighton, Larry Parlin, and Attorney Mark Mulkerin.
CHANGES TO THE AGENDA
The Council and staff went into Closed Session at 6:03 p.m. to discuss the following matter:
1. Conference with Legal Counsel: Existing Litigation—Government Code Section
54956.9(a). Foster Poultry Farms v. City of Livingston, Merced County Superior Court Case No.149443.
The Closed Session ended at 8:51 p.m.
The Council and staff came out of Closed Session and into Open Session at 8:52 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENTS
There was no reportable action; Council gave direction to staff.
The meeting was adjourned by consensus at 8:53 p.m.
