Adopt Resolution No. 2014-_, authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute right-of-way certifications.
Certain regulations of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) require Right-of-Way Certifications which assure that a local public agency has or will have possession of required right-of way.
A Right-of-Way Certification is required for certain types of projects, including, but not limited to, all local streets and road projects that will be advertised by the State or that only have State funding, as well as projects that are Federally funded in either the right-of-way or construction phase.
Caltrans regulations require the submission of a resolution by the governing body of the local agency granting the City Manager or his designee authority to execute the Right-of-Way certification.
None to the City.
