One more thing…about that DECEMBER 19, 2013 Utility Rates Stakeholders Meeting that was canceled until further notice.

At the December 02, 2013 meeting, Members of the Utility Rates Stakeholders Committee stated they wanted to see the effects of proposed Capital Improvements and Operations and Maintenance on Water Rates. This information was prepared and a Meeting Scheduled for December 19, 2013, to go over the results.

Although this meeting was canceled, a packet of information was sent to members of the Utility Rates Stakeholders Committee showing the impacts on Water Rates: links are included below. It is interesting to note, that on the first meeting of 2014, Rates, or Revised Rates are not on the Agenda

FACT SHEET FOR WATER RATE INCREASE and RESTRUCTURE

Typical Bill Impacts for Residential and Commercial Customers – Reduced Capital Improvements Projects – And other Key Tables

FACT SHEET FOR SEWER RATE INCREASE and RESTRUCTURE

And now, on to 2014 (Which is an Election Year BTW– Rodrigo Espinoza and Gurpal Samra’s seats are both up this year.)
